For I Have Plans For You

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord. "Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
My grandsons ages 4 and 2 great grandmother passed on June 28th. They were with their Mom and her mother step dad and Helen's husband of 57 years Webb when Helen suddenly passed on to Heaven in her hospital bed. My son arrived at the hospital moments later after she had passed. I was a mess yesterday. Consoling my son grieving the loss myself and also dealing with the painful memory of my four year old grandson asking me if his Daddy or Grammy were going to pass on. Because he didn't want them to. I am doing better today. I couldn't function yesterday. Today I ran errands went to the grocery store and I am doing my laundry. Making preparations for the wake on Monday and the funeral on Tuesday. Meanwhile today is my baby grandson's second birthday. We then have Fourth of July coming up on Wednesday this year. I am going to be busy for a bit!

I found some really nice recipes on this website www.Skinnytaste.com

Divine Grace

"Even now," declares the Lord, "return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning." Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity. Joel 2:12-13
Wow what a beautiful morning to wake up to. I spent the night away at my friend's flat here in the city. The windows were open it was so nice and cool. I awoke to a bird singing so pretty. I call it the repeater bird as I have heard some before. This bird as an infinite amount of beautiful sounds it repeats a couple of times over and over and then goes on to another double or triple set and so on. Never the same sound is repeated. The pine trees in the grove looming very nearby are so beautiful to watch the sun come up in. Home to many creatures big and small! I had the most refreshing sleep. A mini vacation in the city! Praise be to Him!

The next few days are supposed to be HOT again. A/C will be on. Our electric bill was $100.00 for last month. We got a break yesterday and that was it.
Today I feel the need again to be creative. I am going to read Genesis some more. I want to start my visual art journal page. I can do this! My head is clear. Grace shall flow freely from my heart.
Check this out from Dover Publications

On this day of your life, we believe God wants you to know ... that you are to let grace flow freely from your heart.
Brothers playing with cars in the window before school! My grandsons ages 4 and 2.

Think back over the last few days, - how many times have you felt appreciation towards another? How many times have you thought about another: 'what a lovely smile', or 'she is so nice', or 'such a kind man', or any of a myriad of other appreciative thoughts. Did you express them? Did you come up to her and say: 'you are so nice'? And why not? Why did you stop divine grace from flowing freely from your heart? Do you want to change the world to the better? This is it, this is how you start.
Yes I have done that and it feels so good. I did it some more today. Thanking people and telling them how nice they are. It really feels good. Have a wonder filled day too!

Light My Path

Your word is like a lamp for my feet and a light for my path. I will do what I have promised and obey your fair laws. Psalms 119:105-106
I am up early it is chilly cool 55 outside at almost 6:30 AM EST in Southern NH USA I have been out for a short walk already. I thought I was going to be at my son's house most of the day now it looks like that I will be getting together with everybody later on and going to the car races. 1/4 mile funny cars nitro trucks jet cars super fast motorcycles and more. It has been awhile since I have been to one of these shows. The last one I went to was the Gator Nationals in FL I have lived here for 6 years and have wanted to go where I am going today/tonight for a long time. My now exhusband and I used to race a 1964 Chevy Impala SS at smaller dragways in MD called 75 and 80 and also Bud's Creek. I have racing in my blood. I have met John Force in person. A racing legend. Looks like it is going to be a nice day weather wise. Praise Him! Thank you for this day!

I had a delicious dinner out last night BBQ baby back ribs, teriyaki rice prepared by me and a garden salad with vinagrette dressing which I made and contributed. I slept well and woke to the beautiful pine trees outside my friend's window. Tall looming trees. Well structured there is a grove of them all different heights. The birds and squirrels love it. It is a great home and playground for them.  A rather large bird landed there this morning. Perhaps one of the hawks or eagles from around here. Beyond that you can see airplanes well also mostly jets coming in for a landing. It is so quiet and a lovely place to visit. Good for ones soul!

On this day of your life, Glenna, we believe God wants you to know ... that if you feel too busy, you are.
Give yourself permission to be un-busy. Give yourself an hour or a day to simply be. Allow yourself the luxury of a small retreat. Allow your spirit time to be restored. Even God took a day of rest.

Oh I love this. I did take a break from it all last night. This is something I do give myself permission to do and that is take a break. You don't get much of a break when you are younger and raising a family plus working. Now it is my time.

Whale of a Wednesday

"The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one." Mark 12:29
I am reading Genesis in my bible for some inspiration to create a new art journal page titled "In the Beginning" so far I have some really nice ideas not sure how to downsize all my thoughts as God created and has always created everything. It is a lot to take in. Heaven and Earth Man Nature and so on. The page is 5 1/2" by 8 1/2" As I work on it I will share photos of it with you. Right now it is a blank white slate staring at me. We have to include an old stamp from the Apollo Era with a moon on it in our creation. Praise Him for creating you and me!

It is cool with light rain showers today. I have been up since 4 AM and I already feel like going back to bed. One of those grey days you want to just snuggle in bed and read. I can do that if I want to. I deserve it too! I have no plans no worries but a lot of pain today. I won't make it as long today as I did until 1 PM or so yesterday. It is all therapy for me. Correcting my posture as I sit. Forcing my hands to type even my right hand which is disabled. Stretching praying adding to my Pinterest boards my likes and I have many. Now writing in my blog. I try so hard to distract myself from pain. Bodywide pain. RSD FMS cancer survivor OA full body I know pain. I don't take narcotics! I refuse them unless I have surgery even then with my dental surgery I survived on no narcotics. Each day I am getting better. It is still really tender in my gum where the tooth was removed a full tooth with a teeny tiny cavity that abcessed. Gone now! I was in the hospital last year for a tooth problem at this time. Watching the fireworks by myself from my hospital room.

This year I hope to enjoy watching the fireworks from a third story flat here in the city. They are shot over the river downtown. I am sure the view will be really nice. What are you doing for the 4TH of July? I need to work on my greeting cards for this holiday and get them sent out! Also baby grandsons birthday is June 30th  I am ready for that party! Two year olds!

I love this website have some fun and flip through the beautiful orchids and so much more.

Faith About Monday

It is by faith we understand that the whole world was made by God's command so what we see was made by something that cannot be seen. Hebrews 11:3

I knew it would cool down 75 for a high. It still feels muggy. No rain is expected today so we should have a nice day. Last of my weekend chores need to be done today. Then I will have a fresh start of creativity for the new week. Praise Him for today!

My grandsons ages 4 plus 4 months Brady and Carter will be two on June 30th 2012

I love my grandsons Thank so much for blessing me with them. Praise be to Him!

On this day of your life, Glenna, we believe God wants you to know ... that letting go makes you wealthier.
Wealth is never measured by what you have, but by what you can give away. You are rich with money when you can afford to donate. You are rich with love when you can give love freely. You are rich with God when you can behold your enemy with compassion.

AH YES!

I hope wherever you are you have wonder filled days ahead!

On this day of your life, we believe God wants you to know ... that sometimes it may feel too hard to do it alone.
Sometimes it may seem like you can't figure it out by yourself. Sometimes will and strength and courage are not enough. Sometimes in your life you will need to call out for help. Call on God. God will be there.
Praise Him yes He will!

The Big Fish Story

Yield to obey each other because you respect Christ. Ephesians 5:21
So amazing is the size of this fish, an alligator gar. When I lived in FL we went fishing one day and caught a 5 gallon bucket full of these fish of course much smaller. They had so many teeth. We released all of them. The thrill of finding a school of them was so much fun. They put up a good fight even when little.

I am up early again this morning woke up at 5:30 AM EST in Southern NH it is 70 degrees and rained over night, 86 is expected to be the for a high today. I have no plans this weekend except to stay cool. With several fans going and the window A/C it is comfortable in here. Outside was like a sauna yesterday. I ran my errands yesterday and when I got home I felt so sick and tired from the heat. I slept away most of the afternoon and into the evening. I woke up late and ate something light. I am really having to make myself eat in spite of the fact that my mouth hurts from dental surgery this past Monday. It is healing but takes time. Praise Him for the dental care and a good dental surgeon.

This looks like an interesting forum to get craft ideas.
