A Sunny Sunday

Today I can get some more photography done. Yay it is a sunny Sunday......then I will be posting and listing my goods in two shops at http://www.etsy.com/ I did some reasearch while my shop was down and Etsy by far has the best set up and the costs are very reasonable compared to other venues. Here is a sneak peek at what I have to list for sale. There is a lot more including supplies, jewelry, hand made paper piecings, my art, art bookmarks and so on. Check out www.gnormyle.etsy.com and www.nexttonew.etsy.com for vintage!

Once in a Blue Moon

Tonight: A Blue Moon
Credit & Copyright: Vic Winter (ICSTARS)

Tonight is going to be a blue moon night. I read this article about how the name blue moon came to be. You can read about it here

http://news.yahoo.com/s/space/20101119/sc_space/thereallystrangestorybehindsundaysbluemoon

So check out the moon tonight as this is a rare occurence.

I got all of my Thanksgiving Day shopping done yesterday. Then at noon I went to a Turkey Shoot. I won two of the raffles....I was lucky like that last year too. I won a bottle of spearmint Schnapps and a cloth bag with carrots, potatos, onions and rolls in it. I could have picked a turkey but I already had one and didn't have room in my freezer for it. I love the holidays and cooking/baking! What are you making this year? or do you go out to relatives, friends or a restaurant perhaps!

How about trying this for breakfast on Thanksgiving ~

SUNDAY SUNDAY

"Goals are a means to an end, not the ultimate purpose of our lives. They are simply a tool to concentrate our focus and move us in a direction. The only reason we really pursue goals is to cause ourselves to expand and grow. Achieving goals by themselves will never make us happy in the long term; it's who you become, as you overcome the obstacles necessary to achieve your goals, that can give you the deepest and most long-lasting sense of fulfillment." Anthony Robbins

What do you have for a breakfast cereal? I love a few of these! Especially Kashi cereals.

SUPER SWEET SUNDAY

Why is it going to be a super sweet day....well I am supposed to be seeing my grandsons for the first time since the younger one was born on June 30. I have seen them in pictures like this one. I am very excited to get some of my own pictures. Hold the baby, see how the two boys interact and give Brady lots of extra love from Nana. Apparently Brady 2 1/2 yrs. old has started to act up a bit because of the new baby. I will have to be careful and give him lots of extra attention. He was my first and I don't even really know my new grandson yet. He was a perfect baby not much of a bother the kids said for the first two weeks but now he is keeping them up and Brady too. I remember those days vaguely 29 years ago. I was soooooo tired. It is all so very much worth it for the precious gifts from God.

I just love this picture. I can't wait to see the rest of the professional pictures taken a couple of days ago. This picture makes me smile and laugh.

Basil when fresh can be be added to the top of a tomato, delicious.

What an awesome shot of a picture of February 2010 on a studio calendar!

There is one thing that I truly love about living here in NH is to witness the natural water flowing out of massive rock formations. In the winter it freezes and it looks similar to the picture you see here but on a much grander scale.

Today is Sunday February 21, 2010.....The sun is out and the wind is whipping up. It is still very cold outside at Glenna's Garden in Manchester, NH. That hasn't stopped me from keeping the gallery shop going at www.gnormyle.etsy.com I have been busier than ever. Spring is coming and there are so many new items I want to introduce. I will give you a sneak peak of some items I have created for Glenna's Garden. Please check out www.gnormyle.etsy.com for more fresh ideas. I love this time of the year when Spring is just about upon us. I can be contacted at gnormyle@yahoo.com if you are interested in custom orders. On March 5, 2010 I will once again be participating in firstfridayartwalk on ETSY just like so many other ETSY shops that do. We are growing and some of us have even become really great friends online. I hope to see some new faces there please just use the tag word firstfridayartwalk on your items to participate or to search for all items tagged by ETSY shops already use the tag word firstfridayartwalk in search on ETSY. All are welcome!
