Marching On

So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord. Deuteronomy 8:3

I have been so bad this year with my blog. Very ill too. Finally found out I am gluten intolerant. I am very sensitve to wheat, rye and barley.  So I have been trying to learn all I can eat to make my tummy feel better. Now I am experiencing very low blood sugars. I was up until 2 AM last night when my blood sugar dropped to 77. I was sweating shaking had a headache blurry vision couldn't fall asleep and felt like I was going to pass out. I have been feeling like that lately and I think it is from the diabetes pills I take that are extended release. Now that I have lost about 19 pounds and I can't eat like I used to I think it is time for a medication change. I had to fight over the phone with someone at my doctors office who was trying to tell me I am ok. I said no I am not. I am now waiting to hear from my doctor.

I have a new kitten. I named her Ruby. She was born Dec 2 2012 so she is 3 months old now. She has a lot of Maine Coon cat features. She was very ill with round worms so she has been treated once for that with deworming med from the vet and she gets a second dose in about a week. She also has confirmed ringworm via culture done by her vet. I just found that out last night. She only has one spot so it will be treated and I will see how she does from there. She still has had a ton of energy and is a joy to have around.

Meet Ruby~

She is so flufy and soft! Maine Coon Cats have lots of fur! Not a shedder just needs a combing. They take 2 years to fully grow and remain very playful all their lives. They are known as gentle giants. They have a higher than normal cat intelligence. I am so blessed by Him!

My older grandson had his fifth birthday party on Feb 16, 2013 at a candle pin bowling alley. Here are pictures of him and his brother who is 2 1/2. My grandsons and all of the children at the party had a really fun time.

This is a picture of the card I made my grandson.

Today, Glenna, we believe God wants you to know that ...

you can take a break from working so hard.

Pause, rest, reconnect with your loved ones, share a slow meal, or just go out into the nature and breathe fresh air.

Have a most wonder filled day!

On a Thursday

It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. Psalms 118:8

I can't believe that I have neglected my blog. I was doing so well last year. Well here is my first post for the New Year 2013. It is a Thursday. Not much new has happened this year so far. I have been doing a massive amount of reading at night. I read the Terri Schiavo story yesterday. Got me thinking about putting together a living will. I really need to do this. I will ask my doctor about it when I see her next month. The tummy troubles continue since the Paxil withdrawals. Not as bad as they were. I am hoping they stop. I don't know what is causing it stress, meds, certain foods, or illness/disease.

My son has decided he wants to get his own place. So I will be moving within the next 6 months. I can't afford to stay on here and I don't want a roommate. I will start the huge task of decluttering and packing. Giving away and throwing away. I hope I can afford a one bedroom apartment when the time comes or it will be a small effeciency for me. I always hope and pray I can have a cat. Through Him all things are possible.

Today, Glenna, we believe God wants you to know that ...

all emotions grow in size when practiced regularly.

Practice love to have more love, practice hate to have more hate. Practice kindness to have more kindness, practice depression to have more depression. The choice is yours as always.
