Another Snow Day

Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me will have life even if they die. And everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Martha, do you believe this?"
John 11:25-26

Well today we are expecting more snow here in Southern NH today. As of 4 PM EST in southern NH it is very cloudy starting to get dark as usual and no snow has started falling yet. It looks like we are going to get the snow storm tonight and into tomorrow morning. It is sooooooo cold out.

I made a delicious leftover ham soup. I had cornbread with it for lunch. For dinner tonight I making chicken nuggets differently. I usually use Bisquick but I don't have any so things are going to be done a little differently. I will make them with breadcrumbs egg and flour. I will have to fry them in a bit of olive oil. I will also make a veggie and flakey biscuits to go with the meal..

Here is a picture of the snow wave made by the wind yesterday now there are icicles hanging on it. Very pretty!

Oh I love my new camera and how it zooms in. I think the pictures are really turning out nice now. It was so dark out too. These are pictures accross the yard next door on the building next door to where I live. Some distance away and out of my window. I can't hardly wait to take Spring flower pictures oh I am jumping way ahead. That is 3 months or more away. Winter has just started.

Today, Glenna, we believe God wants you to know that ...

peace can be found in unlikely places.

Even in the darkest storms peace can be found by those who seek it. When turmoil and tension tear at your heart, pray for peace and most often you'll find peace in prayer. Of course there is no need to wait for a storm, pray for peace right now.

Happiness and My Family

I am holding on to the Lord, even as I go through my storm. "Till He fill thy mouth with laughing, and thy lips with rejoicing." Job 8:21

It is coming back some happiness in my life. I went through some really bad withdrawals getting off of Paxil this past summer and Fall and still I am having problems. I have come a long way though.

Times are really tough financially for my son and I right now. My son lost his job this year. 2012 was a bad year. That is why I have a gratitude jar set up for 2013. I need to find something each day to be grateful for and write it down. It can't all be bad there must have been some good times in 2012 I honestly though can't think of much. We had a death in the family in 2012. Now this Christmas is the first with out her. As the year ends we are getting some big snow storms which is nice. It has been a couple years since we had good snow. The next storm is coming in tonight and into tomorrow. More snow.

My almost 5 year old grandson Christmas morning 2012
Someone on Facebook asked recently if you would be happy if you had family and no money. I said yes because I am happy grateful and blessed with family. I really don't have much money. I am praying for a better year in 2013 mainly for my health to get better.

You may have hit a rough season, but a better one is on the way. "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven." Ecclesiastes 3:1

Today, Glenna, we believe God wants you to know that ...

you need to slow down.

Take a moment to pause, to think, to reflect and to pray. Only then will you be able to get the right perspective on the people and things in your life.

My family thank you! Even family not pictured here and my friends too. Praise be to Him!

Big Snow Day Noreaster in NH

Jesus replied, "What is impossible with men is possible with God." Luke 18:27

Last I checked we got 8 amd 1/4 inches here in Manchester, NH today. Things are cleaned up and getting cleaned up and the Noreaster has cleared out. I woke up early and then took a nice nap this afternoon. Woke up starving a bit ago had the last plate of Christmas dinner leftovers. I took out a NY strip steak my son and I found them Christmas Eve at the grocery store. The steaks were marked down to a little over 2 dollars a piece. We should have bought more and other meat too. We didn't get it. I am kicking myself now because we need to go back and buy meat tomorrow. Ah well there will be something there meant for us.

Here it is we got 8.5" of snow here in Manchester, NH Yhis is a list of the snowfall totals.

http://www.wmur.com/weather/stormwatch/Snow-totals-Who-got-the-most-snow-in-New-Hampshire/-/17328920/17910642/-/rljpyaz/-/index.html

Here are my snow pictures for today
True winter December 27, 2012 picture of snow dipped out . It was whipped out by the wind. Looked like a wave curling in front of me as I looked at it from my window today. Awesome. I reserve all rights to this picture.

My son and grandsons on vacation at home playing in the snow we had today from a Noreaster.

Today, Glenna, we believe God wants you to know that ...

when you notice the beauty and the goodness in the world, then the evils and catastrophes, the greed and the wars will not be as overwhelming.

Hold fast to your faith. Believe in goodness. Believe in God.

I believe God is good. Thanks for today!

Then I saw this article

We are definately going to get some snow soon here in southern NH. YAY! May everybody be safe! We get to enjoy some of what we are used to. Get prepared!

We had a white Christmas here with an inch or so of snow. I had a wonder filled Christmas a really nice time with family in the morning with both of my sons my daughter in law and two grandsons. Then I made a big ham dinner for my other son and myself. My son opened his stocking from me and I opened gifts from my friends and my sister. Later in the day I played Scrabble and chatted with my sister online!~ XOXO

Today, Glenna, we believe God wants you to know that ...

kindness doesn't go unanswered.

Even though it seems like thanks and acknowledgments for good deeds are in short supply, God notices them. When you feel like giving up because gratitude eludes, remember that God is delighted in your efforts. Don't stop showing kindness because you feel unappreciated, the author of good things appreciates you very much.

Praise Him thank you!

Saturday Night Before Christmas

It is better to have little and be right than to have much and be wrong. Psalms 37:16

Today was an easy day. I made a pot of spaghetti. Now I am baking a meat pie that my son's friend made. It smells so good in here and it is only 1/3 of the way baked. I opened a nice big can of fruit salad too.

Tomorrow I see my grandsons early before Christmas morning. It is supposed to be cold tomorrow and breezy. That means wind chill factors.

I love to cook easy things in the winter around the holidyas. Check this out.

Today, Glenna, we believe God wants you to know that ...

this very message is a little hug.

Hugs tell us many things; that we are loved, that we are important, that we are valued. This message is a little hug from God telling you all those things. Enjoy it, be blessed by it and try to figure out a way to hug God back.

I will!

Betterment

It is better to finish something than to start it. It is better to be patient than to be proud. Don't become angry quickly, because getting angry is foolish. Ecclesiastes 7:8-9

Well today according to the Mayan calendar Earth was supposed to end. We had fierce snow blizzards in Midwest and a lot of snow for them. Here in southern NH we have had a lot of rain. I am still here. I didn't believe any of the stuff people were saying about the Mayans. Praise the Lord we are alive! For only God knows our moment that we shall die. For the whole earth to perish at once would be just crazy. Now maybe we can all use this as a wake up call to become better people. I know that for me just being more healthy in 2013 would make me so happy. I still have my tummy troubles. I thought they were gone oh yes things improved for a couple of days. Last night my tummy was hurting again.

Heavenly Father, we thank you for your presence in our lives. We ask that you would let your love surround us during this holiday season. Touch every heart in a special way. Give us a heart of love that we may be a blessing to someone. We ask these things in Jesus' name, Amen.

My son called last night. He needs me to watch my grandsons on Sunday. I am thrilled I get to see them before Christmas morning. I can't wait to hug them, hold them and kiss them.

I am going to work on cleaning my house some more today, all the regular chores. It is raining too much right now to go out besides it is 6:45 AM EST and still dark out. I got lots of rest between yesterday and last night. My hip and left thigh are feeling much better.

Today, Glenna, we believe God wants you to know that ...

a new beginning is always possible.

Let the greening of the Earth in springtime be a sign for you that a new beginning is always possible, even after the longest, coldest, darkest winter.

Today is officially the first day of Winter!

Next 5 Days

Starting today through Sunday for southern NH two days before Christmas It looks like it will just be plain old usual cold. Sunday sounds frigid anytime you have breezy you have a windchill factor to deal with too.

It is sunny this morning Praise Him! Also it is 39 degrees at 9:30 AM EST Brrrrrrr cold! Nice and warm inside and I am grateful for that.

In whose eyes a vile person is despised, But he honors those who fear the Lord; He who swears to his own hurt and does not change. Psalms 15:4

I am feeling pretty good this morning. My tummy is relaxed. I ate lots of potatos and carrots yesterday and had them again for breakfast this morning. My dinner last night was a burger with cheese and potato wedges. I am not drinking coffee to see if that helps. So I will be tired today. I feel like snuggling in bed and reading. I could fall asleep. I am sure my son will be sleeping for a few more hours.

Where ever you are have a most wonder filled Wednesday!

Today, Glenna, we believe God wants you to know that ...

you are blessed.

You may think you have challenges, but you have so many blessings. Sometimes it takes only a moment of conscious effort to recognize those blessings. Once you focus on the gifts instead of the problems, your whole perspective will change and you will see blessings everywhere.

Great message! Thank you for many blessings God!

Good Deeds

In the same way, you should be a light for other people. Live so that they will see the good things you do and will praise your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16

Never brag about your good deeds. God sees them and that is enough.

It is a cold rainy day today. All the snow is being washed away. If all this rain were snow we would have many feet of it here in southern NH. Maybe we will still have some snow for Christmas.

I am going to have to make a quick dash to the PO streetbox in a bit to get some things sent out. Soon as I finish this blog post I am out the door. Hoping it is just rainy and not icy too.

I am feeling better with my tummy. It doesn't hurt. I hope I am getting used to this BP med increase.

What are you having for Christmas dinner? My son said last night we might have a ham dinner. He is buying. I have no money for food right now so he is supporting me. I found this recipe for making a ham.

7 days and counting until Christmas. Are you ready? I am pretty much done.

Any plans for the New Year and celebrations? I have none so far. I usually sleep through it to wake up to firecrackers all over my neighborhood. This year I might stay up to watch Times Square celebrations if I can get that on my computer. My son and I don't have TV.

For the love of cats and my sister who has 5 rescues at the moment.

Today, Glenna, we believe God wants you to know that ...

one good deed can shift the balance of the whole world.

Never underestimate the power of your goodness and kindness.

Thank you God~

Be Still

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1

Today we have snow. It snowed yesterday and overnight. More than a dusting. Today I am struggling with the Newton. CT tragedy as my own very young 2 1/2 and almost 5 year old grandsons go back to school today here in southern New England. For children all over this world please dear God watch over them always.

Light a candle! Pray for them! Pray for the first responders, teachers, administrators, familes and friends of everyone involved. Newton, CT will never be the same neither will this world.

In Christ we can come before God with freedom and without fear. We can do this through faith in Christ. Ephesians 3:12

I love my grandsons so much and nothing gives me more pleasure than seeing them have fun. How about doing some doughnuts in the snow? Baby boy mouth open trying to catch a flake on his tongue.
Big brother with a huge smile. He looks just like his Dad there. Adorable!

I can't hardly wait for Christmas morning to give them both a big hug. To be with family!

Well since we got snow here are some of my snow pictures.

These are my snow pictures for Manchester, NH on December 17 2012 taken from my living room window. If I get outside today, it is only 27 right now, I will take some more pics and share them with you.

Dear Jesus

In Christ we can come before God with freedom and without fear. We can do this through faith in Christ. Ephesians 3:12
DEAR JESUS, thank you for NEVER EVER giving up on us. You are ALWAYS faithful to protect and help us. You sustain us. You bless us with food, clothing, housing, medicine, family, friends, and pets. Most of all, You have blessed us with the FREE GIFT of eternal life. We praise You today for being our Perfect God! Amen!

Yesterday I attended church for the first time in awhile. A friend invited me to go to church with her. I enjoyed it. I am going to continue with this. As long as I have a ride which I do for now I will get there. I need to be good to myself and do this for me. Even though I was born and raised a Catholic I find this different Christian church acceptable for now.

If you are trying to lose weight here is a story about lots of good 40 calorie foods for you.

http://www.wmur.com/news/health/-/9857712/17723696/-/4yskfjz/-/index.html

It is so quiet here early AM EST 6:50 AM to be exact here in southern NH. I am going to go check for snow. No snow yet! Currently we are 24 and overcast.

Today I have some house cleaning to do. My son is asleep so I have to be as quiet as I can be. He is a grown adult. I don't see that cleaning happening until he wakes up. Maybe clean the kitchen that is a maybe. I have some craft area organizing to do and desk clean up. I am missing my grandsons. I love them so much. I want to hug them. Especially even more after the recent tagic event in Newton, CT My prayers are with all. I am so sad about that.

How sweet is this! Hugs for all of you! It says Bittle is the maker. Bittle if you want to have me mention more about you here let me know or if you want me to take down let me know. I am not trying to copy anything just sharing from Facebook on my blog.

Where ever you are I hope you have peace in your life.  Your Sunday is a gift if you are reading this! Praise be to Him for this gift of today.

Today, Glenna, we believe God wants you to know that ...

you are a child of God.

Remain strong in your faith, no matter how many mistakes God's children make.

Snow is Coming My Way

If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink. Doing this will be like pouring burning coals on his head, and the Lord will reward you. Proverbs 25:21-22

YAY snow is coming Sunday! Here in Southern NH!

http://www.wmur.com/weather/-/9859398/17775888/-/54bhar/-/index.html

Postively beautiful 27 degree sunny Friday morning. Thank you! Praise be to Him for today!

My plans for the weekend are awash. Changed to nothing. Update: Went to church Saturday (see new blog story) something new and I had not done that in awhile. The same old fun what ever happens it is to be most wonder filled I am sure snow on Sunday and Monday! Update: Now Tuesday and Wednesday as well.

I love my new camera and I am ready to take snow pictures. Yesterday I received a mysterious package in the mail. It was a surprise Christmas gift from my friend Tami in CA. A ME cupcake photo holder. Here are a couple of pictures of it.

Really adorable I am a collector of ME items. This is a new one to me. A friend sent it to me for Christmas this year. Sweet!

You Are Never Alone

You are never alone. "For the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest." Joshua 1:9

Thank you!

For the love of cats!

From Dover Publications

My tummy troubles have returned. My blood pressure medecine was doubled starting yesterday. Oh was I feeling bad today. That is until I sipped some gingerale. Now I am making dinner steak greens beans and a baked potato.

Today, Glenna, we believe God wants you to know that ...

you need to stop comparing yourself to other people.

Some people are great singers, some are really smart and others are great athletes. But none of them are, or ever could be you. You are one of a kind. So stop comparing yourself to other people. You can't be them any more than they can be you.

 Ok thanks for the reminder.

Thank You God

Father, help me to be patient when dealing with people. "Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus." Romans 15:5

Father, today I thank You for this moment!

I want to express my thanks to You for the seemingly small, often overlooked things. Thank You for a warm place when the temperatures are dropping, and help me to remain mindful of those who have no home. Thank You for family and gatherings. Lord, open my eyes to those who feel they have no place. Thank You for these moments with You, and most of all make me aware of those around me who don't have a relationship with Your dear Son. Use me today, and may I truly live as You planned in each moment of this life You have given! In Jesus name, Amen!

So I painted the top of my gratuity jar . The metal lid and it dried and peeled off. This is craft room craziness. I am thinking a round sticker might wotk. I will have to see what I can put together. Hmmmm! Of course the jar is fine the way it is too.

Found some more money today in lotto tickets that were given to me. I am almost done putting them all in the computer. I have a few small stacks of ones left to do.

God you know what I have going on in my life right now please comfort me and make things turn out ok. I can't stress on bills not being paid and disconnect notices for electric right before Christmas or any time for that matter. No foodstamps God I know where I can get some food.  Finding a church to attend. I turn this all over to you and you worry for me. I will do what I can. I need to be independant. Live on my own perhaps! A smaller place just a room! I am so thankful I have a roof over my head for today. Thank you!

I found this picture from last years stocking swap with my Christian Friends group on Swapbot.

I don't have any plans but to clean my home. do laundry and go to the PO streetbox to send mail plus the corner store to collect my money. The usual correspodence on line and Scrabble games too.

Today, Glenna, we believe God wants you to know that ...

it's good to remember.

Think about the times that you felt close to God, when love and joy pulsed through your veins. Dwell on these times, especially when life isn't easy and trouble seems to compete for your attention. Any situation can be improved if you remember to remember God.

Our Father

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. -JESUS in Matthew 6:9-13

I am hoping I have finally found a church to attend. My friend called me yesterday and she has to ask her ride if they can pick me uo too. I am praying and hoping this is what I have been looking for.

My red glitter came off of my gratuity jar. Project gone bad it happens so I have painted the top of the lid red instead. Hopefully this works this time. Pictures to follow when it is dry.

Not much is happening today. I have some PC's that need to go to the PO streetbox laundry still to do and some dishes. I need to get busy after lunch here soon. It did stop raining and we are drying out from the sogginess.

If you really change your ways and your actions and deal with each other justly, if you do not oppress the alien, the fatherless or the widow and do not shed innocent blood in this place, and if you do not follow other gods to your own harm, then I will let you live in this place, in the land I gave your forefathers for ever and ever. Jeremiah 7:5-7

I have done all my correspondence online this morning and played Scrabble. I am caught up wit swaps so now I can relax.

Heavenly Father

I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. Psalms 34:1
Heavenly Father, you know the struggles I'm going through.  I realize there are lessons here that I need to learn. Quicken my spirit, increase my wisdom, grant me your wisdom, and grant me the strength of obedience to follow wherever you lead. All that I might learn my lessons and move quickly to enter the ministry you have planned for me to accomplish. I ask this in Jesus's name, Amen.

This is the next 5 days weather forecast for Manchester, NH (southern NH)

More rain mix today it is 41 right now at a quarter 8 AM EST here. Wet and gloomy for now.

Yesterday I decorated my home for Christmas. So today is free to create or work on the scrap book of my grandsons. I have laundry left to do. Starting with the first of the new year I am going to use a gratitude jar I made and every time something nice happens I am going to write it on a slip o paper and tuck it in my jar. At the end of next year I will read all the little slips and reflect back on the year. I have a jar I already decorated it. Except for the jar lid which is gold on the edge and I should probably decorate the top of it with red glitter.

Gratitude jar 2013 complete

Today, Glenna, we believe God wants you to know that ...

nature is the best cure.

Whenever you are stressed or worried or uneasy, take a nice long walk in the nature, touch the ground with your feet, touch the trees with your hands, and the Divine nature of life will flow into you to ease your pain.

I often feel like doing this but it is Winter here. I still need to do it no matter what. No more excuses.

Order My Steps

Father, this is my prayer. "Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me." Psalms 119:133

Today I have been up since 4:30 AM I am feeling out of sorts. It is only because now after a week of my son staying up all night and sleeping in I think it is affecting me. I am trying to sleep at night and there is some noise. I can make it so quiet for him and sometimes even start a nap before my son gets up. However he did manage to sleep through my desk top organizer files and all papers pencils all my office supplies that just dumped into the corner behind my desk. What a loud crash. I don't dare touch it now because it is going to be a noisy cleanup I have to go under the table which is my desk. It is 9AM. The neighbors bedroom is right on the other side of the wall too. Gosh I hope I didn't wake them up.

Plans for today include decorating for Christmas which I am starting promptly upon finishing todays' blog. I am tired but that I can do.

I am starting with this!

Yes that is my stocking full of 7 wrapped gifts. I have had it since my birthday November 28th

I have a stocking I am working on for my son.

Today, Glenna, we believe God wants you to know that ...

it's time to let people see your inner beauty.

It's time to let people know the real you. Be who you are, not who you think people want you to be. You are more beautiful on the inside than you realize, and you need to share that beauty with others. Be transparent, let your guard down, let people know the real you.

Right Way

If you go the wrong way- to the right or to the left- you will hear a voice behind you saying, "This is the right way. You should go this way."  Isaiah 30:21

It is 37 rainy and cloudy this morning. I am up way early this morning it is 6:00 AM EST in Southern NH I went to bed really early last night even after taking a nap yesterday. Now I am refreshed for a new day. Praise be to Him!. Whew that was a lot of sleeping. Well today I am going to clean and decorate my home for Christmas. I have an errand or two to run today, hopefully my son will take me. I most likely won't find the time to be crafty today. Unless I do something this morning or late this afternoon if I can stay awake. I found some more sites recently you might like.

Believe in Him

If you believe, you will get anything you ask for in prayer. Matthew 21:22

I do believe in Him! My prayers are always awnswered. I went to the PO yesterday and sent off all my Christmas cards, swaps, post cards and packages. I am waiting on return happy mail. Yay I am so happy to be done with all of that. I still have my son that lives me to finish up for. I am putting together a Christmas stocking. He said he wanted some comic books so I am going to try to win them on Listia for him.

I have started working on a birthday card for my sister and I have to make one for my Dad too. Both of them have January birthdays. Here is a picture of the card I started for my sister.

This is the first time I have made a trifold greeting card. I love using this cardstock. A friend has some larger envelopes for me that she is sending me. This is a thicker heavier card because of all the sides that have to be covered in the pretty paper. I am still thinking of a creative way to close the front. It doesn't really overlap but I could punch a hole in each side and add a ribbon to tie closed. I had won the Happy Birthday chick on Listia. It is one piece. I had just enough two sided tape to make this card. I need supplies but have no money. I will find them somehow. Praying for that and my food situation to work out soon. I witnessed a miracle concerning food. A bag of bread was left by my front door. With a paper inside that said it was from Our Fathers Pantry. I am going there tomorrow as they had instructed to see what food they are giving out. I have been looking for a church so maybe this is my answer. Prayer works!

Today, Glenna, we believe God wants you to know that ...

the world is as good as you see it is.

If you focus on the bad, you will see a 'bad' world. If you focus on the good, you will see goodness. Choose your focus carefully.

I choose to be positive!

Where ever you are in this world I hope you have a most wonder filled weekend coming up!

God Gave His Son

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 (NIV)

♥  Thank you for a beautiful sunny morning here in Southern NH. My new camera takes great pics I will share pictures here of the heart/snowflake garland and the Christmas 2012 cards I made.

A card I made for Christmas 2012

Some cards I made for Christmas 2012

Garland I made

I have started decorating my home for Christmas 2012

If we had forgotten our God or lifted our hands in prayer to foreign gods, God would have known, because he knows what is in our hearts. Psalms 44:20-21

Today I am going to finish decorating my home for Christmas. Maybe work on some art or crafts too. I have some trifold cards I am itching to try out. I could make my sister her birthday card. Her birthday is next in January and my Dad right before that too.  I am not much on making cards for men. I do have some nice old cars stamped and some black and grey silver bling dots. A friend did that for me to make cards for men.

As we inch closer to Christmas remember the real reason for this season! Jesus!

Today, Glenna, we believe God wants you to know that ...

you need to have faith.

No matter how deep the abyss or how powerful the storms you face, everything can change for the better in a day, a moment or an instant. Hold on and know that your current circumstances will pass.

Yes and this too shall pass! Food is a constant need and hard to come by these days. My food stamps case was closed. I don't know why. I am going to appeal it. Yesterday Our Fathers Pantry dropped off bags of bread to each apartment. If they only knew how much we needed that help. Maybe a church for me has been another prayer answered. You can go there Saturdays and get food.

In Love With the Lord

I am in love with the Lord. He is the only one who can fill every void in my life. "Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee." Psalms 63:3

Oh yes I am definately in love with Him. Above all I am so grateful I know Him.

I was up early AM did all my computer stuff early this morning. Then I made lunch. Now I am writing for a bit. Here is something I have to share

Today, Glenna, we believe God wants you to know that ...

even when you do something wrong, even when you fail, even when you make poor choices, you are loved.

God is not a punitive. No doubt you will punish yourself enough for your mistakes. The question is: Will you try to do the right thing next time? Will you learn from your mistakes? Will you keep on loving and caring to the best of your ability?

Yes I have. I am more into being single and embracing that. I think you call it slowing down some. Yes I do love and care about myself and others.

Prosperity and Contentment

If they obey and serve him, they will spend the rest of their days in prosperity and their years in contentment. Job 36:11

I am ready for the Post Office. I would have walked today but it is is gloomy and calling for ice pellets. So I will go tomorrow with a chance for rain and get it out of the way. I am so happy to be done with cards and swaps and packages for Christmas. I have my 2 sons and DIL left to get for. Money is slim. It always works out though. Never anything extra but just enough. I will make it work. Praise Him for today! I woke up at a decent morning hour. I seem to be having an ok time with food and my tummy today ie it doesn't hurt since I have just ate lunch. I have been eating basic bland things lately.

I would like to make some more garland and possibly decorate for Christmas tomorrow morning.

Dover Publications

I looked through my decorations yesterday and I have some things I can hang and decorate with. I am not putting up a tree this year. We just don't have the room and with the common space also an office now for my son it is even more crowded. Cozy! I am so grateful for this place and for my son.

Today, Glenna, we believe God wants you to know that ...

to burn out the pain, just find a place filled with joy.

God created joy as a balm for pain. What are some places, who are some people filled with joy that you can rely on to ease your pain?

Richness Fire Water Silver

For You, O God, have tested us; You have refined us as silver is refined. You brought us into the net; You laid affliction on our backs. You have caused men to ride over our heads; We went through fire and through water; But You brought us out to rich fulfillment. Psalms 66:10-12

Praise be to Him for today. It a cold early AM here in Southern NH with snow on the ground still. The pavement is cleared up. It snowed maybe an inch or two. I have a new camera I got for my birthday so I was thinking later on I would go out and use it outdoors for the first time and take some snow pictures.

Today I am going to share a variety of sites I have been to that I liked and hopefully you enjoy them too.

I love Christmas. Making cards and getting them ready to send out tomorrow. I have gift wrapping and package getting together on the agenda for later on today. I took pictures but I need to figure out how to get them from the camera to my computer. It is a nice new camera. You are going to see a big difference in the quality of my photos now.

Today, Glenna, we believe God wants you to know that ...

there are only two ways to live your life: One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as if everything is.

Don't wait for miracles, your whole life is a miracle.

I know it is wonder filled! Sometimes hard and sometimes easy! I have lived a rich life so far Mom of two sons and Nana to two grandsons. I expect miracles. Thank you!

Thankful for Friday

Thank you Lord for everything you have done, you are doing, and you have planned for my life. "Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee." Psalms 63:3

Well I have had a busy day. One thing I did was I picked out all of my Christmas cards I am sending plus I need to make at least 5 more so far that I can see. So I am needing to work hard and concentrate on Christmas cards making them addressing them and writing notes plus signing tonight. Get that done out of the way. Then I need to wrap several small gifts and get my partner's stocking ready to ship. Mine looks really nice just hanging on a wall here. We are cold today 36/27 snow tomorrow maybe and gradually warm up to nice 57 and sunny on Monday. Sounds like a cold weekend to stay indoors and get some Christmas must dos done. Maybe even decorate!

I have been talking to my sister and making Christmas cards this afternoon. I made 4 cards. I guess I will have to search for more cards or possibly make more. I also made hearts with snowflakes on them to make garland. I have gold thread to string them on. I need to put a bling dot on each one. Then I will hang it as garland tomorrow. Looks like it will be a fun weekend of decorating once I get these cards out of the way.

Today, Glenna, we believe God wants you to know that ...

everything will be alright.

It may seem dark at the moment, but don't lose hope. There is always a light at the end of the tunnel, keep moving and you'll get there. God won't abandon you; let God be your light. It may take some time, but in the end, everything will be alright.

It always does turn out ok. God's will and in His time!

Where ever you are have a wonder filled weekend! TGIF
