Friday Tips

The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? Psalms 27:1

It is 36 feels like 28 another cold day here in southern New Hampshire. Tomorrow it is supposed to be 50 YAY!!! Today though I do need to go to the post office street box to mail a letter the deadline is tomorrow. It is sunny out Praise Him. I need to check out the tulip tree and see how it did through this cold snap.

Today I need to work on some more Easter cards and notes so I can send them all out this weekend. It is hard to believe it next Sunday is Easter Sunday. I have just a couple more swaps to do and my time is free. I will be working on scrap booking. Nonstop to get these scrap books done by Mother's Day! Big job and so little time! Not one but two scrap books. I still have 152 pictures to pick up at Walgreens. Once I get the pictures I am sure the pages of each album will flow. Today I am going to look at scrap book lay outs on line and look through a couple of books on scrap booking I have.

Some chores are not done this week in fact several. My kitchen sink backed up yesterday I am still not sure it is ok I need to do dishes. I still have laundry to do but I can get help with it on Monday so I will wait for that. I still need someone to empty the canister so my vac will suck. My son has been busy and it seems like time is flying. I have a really neat rubber stamp that is a clock with wings and it says time flies on it. I am still working on stampings for a private swap I am doing for ten vintage post cards she has. I hope it is worth it. I met someone online that inherited over 1,000 vintage post cards recently. I promptly asked her if she wanted to trade some of them for something I had and she asked for rubber stampings.

I am going to Saturday church tomorrow Yay!!!!! It will be nice if the sun is out and when you stand in the middle of the crowd it is so warm. I love to hear sermons and sometimes a testimony too. My church is held outdoors every Saturday 52 weeks a year. They have a regular service on Sundays indoors but I can't get there. It is too far for me to walk to. They have been serving the community for over 20 years now. Praise Him for them! Praise Him for my friends!

We all have to do laundry and the soaps are expensive maybe this article will help you decide.

Treats on Thursday

The Lord is like a strong tower; those who do right can run to him for safety. Proverbs 18:10

It says it is 43 but feels like 37 out now this afternoon here in southern NH. I looked out my window this morning and captured photos of an orange cat on the neighbors garage roof. There are birds in the tree. Here are some of the best shots. Naughty kitty!

Then I found this beautiful purple finch in the forsythia bush!

Praise be to Him for this wonder filled day so far!

Wicked Weather

So don't worry, because I am with you. Don't be afraid, because I am your God. I will make you strong and will help you out; I will support you with my right hand that saves you. Isaiah 41:10
Today it is cold it hailed earlier now as I write this at 2:45 PM EST in southern NH it is 42 feels like 38 out nasty wicked weather. I am staying in for the rest of the day. Today is chores day dishes laundry clean the toilet spot clean here and there and take the trash out. My vac needs dumping it is the canister type. Lately my allergies have been ok. The mornings are a bit rough but once I have my pill and inhalers I am doing fine.

I got a really pretty Easter card today and some happy mail. A small bit of inspiration to create with. I think I will make a postcard with the pretty purple butterfly flourishy flowery piece of cardstock I received and attach it to white cardstock so I can write on it. Unless I find some light purple cardstock which would be even prettier. I think I am talking myself into a trip to Michaels craft store. When it is completed I will share a picture of it on here.

Terrific Tuesday Just Because

The Lord is good to those who hope in him, to those who seek him. It is good to wait quietly for the Lord to serve. Lamentations 3:25-26
Today is terribly cold and it was overnight the poor trees and plants. It is 32 and it really feels like 20. Windy those March winds are here! I went for a walk yesterday it wasn't this cold but still it was a brisk walk to say the least. Today I am staying in. I am nursing a muscle in my shoulder which is making it feel like I have a sore throat. It has been hurting for awhile. I thought I was sick and almost went to the doctor. I put a pain patch on it and it is helping me. YAY!

Yesterday was productive for me. I got the stampings done that I need to trade to someone for vintage postcards. My Easter cards and notes are in order. I do have to hand write a letter one page on nice paper which is hard for me to do. It will be therapy that is for sure. Walgreens just called and said my pictures are ready for my grandsons scrap book albums. So I am one step closer to starting them on April 1, 2012! No fooling!

Already Monday

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and he saves those whose spirits have been crushed. Psalms 34:18
That is so comforting to know at this time. I won't go into detail but my life changed recently. Someone is no longer with me. An alcoholic someone. Some of my hardest times lately have been at night.

It is cold again this morning as I write this at 9:30 AM EST in southern NH 41 feels like 32 and it is sunny that is nice for my indoor garden. When it warms up some more I am going outside to take Spring pictures.

Do you like Chinese food? I do!

Today I have a few letters and notes to write for Easter. If I am feeling up to it I might make a postcard, do some stampings and make a greeting card. One a day was pretty ambitious of me. I haven't been following that. How crafty are you?

Not Cold Again......

Someone who is laughing may be sad inside, and joy may end in sadness. Evil people will be paid back for their evil ways, and good people will be rewarded for their good ones. Proverbs 14:12-14

It is only 44 outside feels like 41 shortly after noon today as I start to write this. What happened to 82 the other day? Well I went out to breakfast with a friend today. That was nice to get together and catch up on life.

I have been home for a bit and decided to jump on here and do some writing and correspondence. Speaking of correspondence check this out I got a handmade postcard in the mail yesterday. Now isn't that cute! I wish I had a chick stamp. I will have to look for one. I always have plenty of flowers.

2 Chicks in Spring Postcard Made by Sherry

I am inspired to make some postcards for different occasions. I still need to make a greeting card or two. Yesterday I started organizing all of my Easter mail plus their inserts.

I have not tried Pinterest yet. I am signed up. I found this and decided to share it with you. Here is a link to a 101 tutorial to check out for help!

http://thedailydigi.com/pinterest-101-a-tutorial/

Oh no I just looked at our weather predictions I see that the lows will be 25 and 30 two nights in a row this week coming up. I hope things don't freeze. I need to get out and take pictures tomorrow. I found a really pretty clump of daffodils it actually looks like a bouquet of daffodils sitting there in the grass so pretty. We have no sun today or I would take a picture of it today. It is a cold wet rainy day today. Praise Him we need the moisture as dry as this past Winter was.

Where ever you are I hope you have a wonder filled Sunday or Monday perhaps!

Super SWEET Saturday

The Lord has made known His salvation; His righteousness He has revealed in the sight of the nations. Psalms 98:2
What a day up early off shopping with my friends for four hours. I went out to lunch had crab meat rolls. Yummmmm!

I found all sorts of neat things cards stickers etc for correspondence, some seeds too I love to try to grow flowers indoors. It will be fun I forgot to get some more soil and pots so that will have to wait until next week.

I am having clams linguine for dinner tonight along with a nice spring mix salad with tomatoes, carrots and mushrooms. I love it when I get to the grocery store and I have lots of good fresh food to eat. Going off of meat and dairy for the past few weeks has been such a nice change. I found some salmon packed separately which is perfect for one. Wild fresh caught. You want that because they use chemicals to clean in the fish farms so if you eat fish that is farm raised it is not very good for you. Instead of soy milk I bought almond milk unsweetened for my coffee. You keep it on the shelf until you open it then you have to refrigerate it.

Preacher Cake

http://www.justapinch.com/recipes/dessert/cake/preacher-cake-3.html?source=fork_fb_preacher_cake

I am thoroughly pooped out and I am going to rest once I finish this. Tomorrow I will put together mail that needs to go out and maybe even get crafty. It is getting colder now 53 today at 3 PM as I write this.

I ordered 152 pictures this morning online from Walgreens for scrapbook albums and photo albums of my grandsons. Good thing they were having a special on them so it isn't going to cost me an arm and leg. I have lots of work to do to catch up with pictures.

Today the landscape was dotted with the beautiful colors of Spring!

Look for the beauty in yourself. God does.

He uses each of us to our abilities – imperfections and all!

I do feel beautiful it comes from within!

Circumstances

Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. - Thessalonians 5:18

This means to always find yourself grateful no matter the circumstance. There is a reason for this because it is His will!

I woke up so sick feeling this morning. I have had a sore throat for a couple of days. My allergies are in high gear now. So to be grateful that I have allergies I can't seem to find how to give thanks other than to thank Him for making me the way I am. Thank you!

My lovely Spring fibers came in oh they are so pretty. I am going to show you how pretty they are.

I use these for tags, bookmarks and art ATC's This Spring I have gathered a few materials to make some nice cards too.

When you have sinned………… call on Psalm 51 ► http://gbyou.org/Psalm_51
When you worry ….………. call on Matthew 6:19-34 ► http://gbyou.org/Mt6_9-34
When you are in danger……… call on Psalm 91 ► http://gbyou.org/Psalm_91

I need to complain. It is too hot now in Winter it is too cold LOL

It is so warm in here in southern NH today the A/C is running again. No open windows. We are expecting 82 today!

I was looking through my garden watering it this morning. I looked closer at the pomegranate bush and it has about 9 or so buds on it now. I will take some pictures for you when they open. They are really great for pressing too. They are a dark tangerine orangey reddish color. They hold their color very well once pressed. I don't ever miss these oppurtunities to press flowers from Glenna's Garden.

I hope you enjoy a beautiful wonder filled day!

UPDATE

The Lord God is like a sun and shield; the Lord gives us kindness and honor. He does not hold back anything good from those whose lives are innocent. Psalms 84:11

Some days I enjoy sharing two scriptures. I ended up walking to the PO streetbox with all of my mail. It is already 77. I was wrong. The forsythia is blooming and I saw a purple crocus in the grass oh and two daffodils. Also the tulip tree's buds are starting to show color. Tomorrow I am going out earlier when it is not so warm and shoot some pictures of Spring. There is a yard down the street that is usually really pretty I will have to go check it out. My walking route is based on the seeing the pretty yards.

Lord God Helps Me

The Lord God helps me, so I will not be ashamed. I will be determined, and I know I will not be disgraced. Isaiah 50:7
I am no fool. I am a great friend, someone is not doing right by me. The same promises broken over and over! Now I see how alcohol is truly preferred by them over me. My eyes are wide open. When you have Him you see it all!

It is 70 already as I write this at 12:30 PM EST in southern NH. What gorgeous weather we have been having so far this week. So warm we need the A/C on. The heat gets trapped in here when you don't open windows. Since I have such bad allergies I don't want to open windows this year.

I need to be crafty this afternoon it is calling me. I think I will start with a couple of cards. I also need to make an ATC for spring showers. I have rain drops already but no umbrella though. Maybe I can make one. What do "Spring Showers" remind you of? We don't have any bulbs up yet but the trees and bushes are loaded with buds. If you watch the birds closely they are picking up materials to make nests. It is so cute when they struggle with something too big and they try out all kinds of things they find on the ground until they find the perfect piece and then they fly off with it. Praise Him for birds!

It is getting to be lunch time and I don't know what to make yet! I am waiting until this weekend to shop for veggies so I am limited with those. No salad I miss salads! I could go to the cornerstore and see what they have. They always have fresh vegies. Lately I have wanted vegie soup too. I am switching my eating habits and it is going well. Very little to no meat only chicken or fish seafood no dairy and lots of fruit and vegies. Whole grains too. I am eating way less this way. I should be losing weight. We will see I have 3 doc appts next month and I will be weighed at each of them.

I am missing my grandsons. My feel good Nana feelings are dwindling. I am hoping to see them soon. I wish I lived closer and could see them more often.

As I sign off it is now 78 degrees outside and cloudy! YAY Spring is finally here! Where ever you are I hope you are enjoying some awesome weather and maybe even working on your outside garden.

This is an amythest stone pieces, cut glass darker purple pendant and glass ladybug bracelet I made last Spring. The amythest is my Mother's birthstone and also my grandson's too. He was born on the same day as my Mother.
Look up John 3:16 This is on a box from a chocolate cross I bought from Easter last year. I try to buy one of these every year if I can find them. Of course I eat the chocolate and then they make nice approx. 5 x 7 inch boxes for storing small things. I like the see through cross.

No Wickedness

The Lord does not listen to the wicked, but he hears the prayers of those who do right. Proverbs 15:29

Wow these sudden warm temperatures here in southern NH are nice. I already have on the A/C though. I am afraid to open my windows with pollen going crazy. I am avoiding long periods outdoors too. I was supposed to go to the PO this morning but I woke up late 11 AM my deceased Mother was calling my name in my sleep. That is strange it never happened to me before. I was glad she woke me up thanks Mom. Praise be to Him!

Today I have visions early of creativity so today will probably turn out crafty. I would like to send out some more blessings to my friends. I received Happy Mail from a friend yesterday with pretty Spring ribbons and recipe cards. I love recipe cards I collect them and swap them. The ribbon she sent me is what is spurring my interest in making a card or two. There is enough to share some ribbon with someone else in need. I need to make an ATC so I am looking forward to something artsy to do.

My pomegranate plant has one large bud on it. I will take pictures of it soon. The basil is still flowering too. It is very strong smelling right now. I am so excited HAPPY SPRING! Today is the official first day of Spring!

Last years pomegranate blooming! It went crazy last time it bloomed. There are three buds here!

Springy Monday

And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19

My needs are met by Him! Trust, love of family and happiness and so much more! Praise Him!

Oh the weather is so nice. Bright sunny and warm 70 already at 11:30 as I write this in southern NH. All week we are going to have 70's. Time to get out and soak up some Vitamin D. I have chores to do today. Dishes, laundry, trash, recyclables and if I can get my vac canister dumped I won't be exposed to the dust. That is all I need. I am out of my allergy pill. So I don't need that to go full force on me. I left a message at my doctors on the refill line and the pharmacy faxed the doctor for me too. I hope I get it quickly. I am seriously thinking about getting some masks so I am not so limited. I am sure the pollen is going crazy right now. We are having a string of nice Springy days here YAY

Forsythia I cut is in full bloom now. I am going to press the flowers as bright yellows do well.

Well look at that 77 degrees so far today  and it is almost 4 PM. They are saying 82 I got some sun. I had Chinese food for lunch and my chores are done today. I turned on the A/C Tomorrow I have to go downtown to the PO, CVS also get some fruit and vegies. I will get plenty of fresh air. I have my allergy pills now too. I adverted a disaster. I hope you have a wonder filled week!

Word of God

The grass dies and the flowers fall, but the word of our God will live forever. Isaiah 40:8

Is this ever so true! I praise Him with all of my heart!

From Dover Publications

I am looking forward to next week possibly 70's every day! It is 60 this afternoon as I write this. Spring has arrived! My forsythia is in full bloom indoors and still budding outside on the bush.

Enjoy a happy sunny wonder filled Sunday! Praise Him for this day!

Saturday 's Good News

The faithless will be fully repaid for their ways, and the good man rewarded for his. Proverbs 14:14

It is a little after 9 AM EST in southern NH here I sit at home waiting for a friend to come get me and take me to Saturday church. It is an outdoor event the current temperature is 43 and it feels like 41 so it is cold out there. I am not sure I want to go after all myself. Nevertheless I am ready to go though if my friend should call me. I am up dressed and drinking my coffee. Praise Him it is a beautiful day! Oh she just called about an hour late. We are going.

I wrote that this morning. Now 4 hours later here I sit writing this. I went to the outdoor event it was comfortable. I enjoyed the part of the sermon about how there is hope and healing. It reassured me! Praise Him for Saturday church especially extras gained from it! Thank you Lord. Next week is supposed to be so nice I am really looking forward to doing some outdoor activities. The 70's for temps that is perfect!

They are forming a larger community awareness program here where I am. Bless those folks Lord! They need help in that area of city which is just south of me here in southern NH. It is for the children and really everybody but I like to think of the children first.

The forsythia I brought in a couple of days ago has popped flowers!

So pretty when it pops indoors a bit of early Spring!

HAPPY SPRING!

Fish Friday

The everlasting God is your place of safety, and his arms will hold you up forever. He will force your enemy out ahead of you, saying "Destroy the enemy!" Deuteronomy 33:27
Praise Him for watching over and protecting all of us!

It was so nice and feeling like Spring. Now it is rainy cold 40 really feels like 35 and we are supposed to get thunderstorms. I had to turn on the heat this morning. I have set myself up for a challenge to make a greeting card each day until I have a nice amount to share. I have the supplies and it is fun to do. I made this one yesterday. I made one today but I haven't taken a picture of it.

The forsythia is about to pop today I see yellow unfurling whereas yesterday it was mostly green. I will share pictures with you when it is blooming.

This weekend will be busy with Saturday church and Sunday grocery shopping. We are supposed to get a lot of fog Sunday and Monday. I hope it doesn't spoil my plans.

I found some sites to share with you while reading this week. Have a wonder filled weekend where ever you are!

Love Thy Neighbor

For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other. Galatians 5:14-15
My neighbors are quiet and courteous. I am blessed and so grateful that it is that way now. Praise Him!

Today it is cold 39 now but really feels like 34 and it is overcast. A good day to work on chores at home and for crafting. I am going to make a bright cheerful Springy Easter Card. I picked out the materials and papers earlier. I need some ribbon and then I am set to go. This is my second to last swap I am doing for awhile. I need to concentrate on making the scrapbook albums for my grandsons so they will be done by Mother's Day. Perhaps doing the scrap books will cheer me up. I have been sort of missing my grandsons the last few days. My feel good Nana feelings are dwindling, It also doesn't feel like Spring anymore. I did bring in some cut forsythia and it is doing great being forced to bloom early indoors. There is a lot of green on the buds today!

Are you planting, planning or just plain old thinking about seeds right now? I am!

Slow to Anger

The discretion of a man makes him slow to anger, And his glory is to overlook a transgression. Proverbs 19:11
Wow wouldn't that be nice! I have experienced the opposite and it was no fun.

Rain today well they call it drizzle. That just means it is raining constantly gently. I am sure the Spring plants love it as it is 45 today and at least it isn't snow any more. I cut some forsythia yesterday and stuck it in water, this morning the buds are already sprouting some green. Here are some pictures of the beautiful 70 degree day we had yesterday. Blue skies just lovely!

Forsythia bush March 2012 budding

 Lilac bush March 2012 budding

Well this morning my nose blowing and barky cough are back. That pretty much means allergies to me. I like to have a fan on at night. Now it sits up on a tall boy dresser so the cold air falls down on me. It must be stirring up dust so no more of that at least not all night long. Also I just had roses and now the forsythia cutting in my home. Plus I have been venturing outdoors more now that the weather is nicer. My symptoms are significantly worse this morning.  I take an allergy pill spray my nose and use my inhaler. I start to become feeling better in about an hour after that. I never had this problem ever until I moved to New England. Not as a child or adult in Maryland and certainly not while living in FL or out West in WA state even.

Today is going to be a crafty day for me. I want to make a couple more cards for Easter. When Easter is over I won't be doing swaps tags or trains. No Swap bot! I need to concentrate on putting my grandsons albums together. I was so disappointed when I was picking pictures the other day for a new Walgreens photo album for my grandsons and it just stopped working. What a pisser! It has happened to me before. Nothing you can do but spend the pain staking time to do it all over. I have not found that time yet for a couple of days. It might be a nice project to work on today. I pretty much have all day to do things. Cleaning a little bit every day is good! I don't have much energy for more than that. I forgot to vacuum yesterday so I need to do that.

Things To Do

Thanks be to God for his gift that is too wonderful for words. 2 Corinthians 9:15
Call a grandparent. Walk on the sunny side of the street. Walk through the grass barefoot. Donate to a charity. Talk with someone in the checkout line. Smile at someone.

Warmer temperatures are here. Yesterday was beautiful. I went out twice. Today it is just getting sunny at 11AM EST in southern NH as I write this and it is already 52. The trees are budding. I will have to inspect the forsythia and the lilac bush when I go out. I might force some forsythia to bloom by cutting a piece and bringing it indoors. Wouldn't that be nice. My first touch of Spring in my home. I am so grateful I have a home Praise Him! Do you remember the Ben Franklin stores well they are back and online. I thought I would share the link for you http://www.benfranklin.com/

Forgiveness

Teach them to obey everything that I have taught you, and I will be with you always, even until the end of this age. Matthew 28:20
Praise Him! He is always with me. Everytime I have another medical problem or just problems in life He is right there. Beleive me I have called for Him many times. Especially over the past 6 years.

Lesson learned and yesterday was rough. I still have my moments. I forgive him.
He is ill. Alcoholism and I just can't take it anymore. I let him go after two plus years. I am free from the mental abuse!

Everyday Fools

Stay away from fools, because they can't teach you anything. A wise person will understand what to do, but a foolish person is dishonest. Fools don't care if they sin, but honest people work at being right. Proverbs 14:7-9

29 but really feels like 23 it is so cold this morning. We jumped ahead an hour this morning. I was still up at 7 AM I only grocery shopped yesterday Praise Him though for that and I went out to lunch with my friends. I had to miss all the Easter goodies once again. Ha they will still be there next week. No Walmart or the $ store. I don't have much to spend but I would like to pick up some stickers and crafty things. I still love to dye eggs so I have to get my kit. I forgot how good vanilla soy milk tastes in coffee. Finally after giving up dairy and meat for the past two weeks approximately I went grocery shopping and bought mostly vegan foods. All which I love. I found the best deal on my Spring salad just leaves baby spinach etc yesterday and it even costs less now. It comes in a nice big plastic tub.

Since today is Daylight Savings Day I thought you might like to read this:

So far I made this card for Easter and I was thinking that I would make another one today. It is a good day to stay in do crafty things and clean. I need to pull out all Springish things from my supplies including some ribbons. I have some cute paper Easter/Spring paper.

Overcast Saturday

The Lord hears good people when they cry out to him, and he saves them from all their troubles. Psalms 34:17
This is a lovely Psalm to share as it gives one so much hope! It strengthens my faith. Makes me love Him all the more! ~HOPE FAITH LOVE~

Today this morning as I write this a few minutes after 9AM EST southern NH it is 30 overcast feels like 23 oh joy and we are expecting more snow showers today. It was snowing earlier this morning and it snowed over night. All told maybe an inch of snow has fallen. It is the wind. It is what makes it so much colder bone chilling cold. Well I am going shopping some time today. I will be in a car. My friends are picking me up. I will have to dress warm wear a hat gloves and my winter coat once again.

Friends on Friday

Some friends may ruin you, but a real friend will become more loyal than a brother. Proverbs 18:24

My friends that I can really count as friends well that number is small. I have family though and that is really important to have. Praise Him for family and friends.

I just have to share these roses with you. I got them from a friend yesterday.

The pink ones smell heavenly. Today they are opening. I love to watch that! I am very thankful for friends. Even my online friends. Most of all I love Him! Thanks for the flowers!

I weighed myself this morning and it looks like I just lost 5 pounds going to a non meat and non dairy diet. Somewhat modified though because I wasn't properly prepared with the correct food yet. I will be purchasing that tomorrow. WOO HOO I am feeling so much better today it has been a long time to be sick October 2011 until this past week.  Prednisone works wonders on your body. I hope that isn't the reason for the weight loss. In time I will know.

Be encouraged and don't give up. The Lord hears you, He sees you and He is working on the details of your situation. "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up." 1 Thessalonians 5:11

Praise Him for our animal friends too!

More for Monday

So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.
Deuteronomy 8:3

Sweet Sunday

The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. Psalms 37:39-40

This morning it is 30 feels like 24 at 7 AM as I start to write this. Yesterday's rains washed away a lot of snow and with the sunny predictions for today well that will melt some more. It might actually be nice enough out later on to go outside. Maybe go for a walk. If it isn't windy it will be divine in the sun!

I took some snowy pictures yesterday. I love the icicle one. Those icicles are long gone. Once again the roads and sidewalks are clear. It looks very icy though.

The birds are in the forsythia bush and the building across the way has a long roof line of icicles. The birds are also back again in the forsythia bush this morning. I can see them from my living room I hear them too. It is too dark out yet to film them. Which is one of my favorite past times. To shoot photos. We had no sun yesterday until late in the day. So most of my photos look drab just like it is in Winter.

There is a bird in the forsythia bush in the center of this picture.

That is a different bird right in the center of the picture.

Icicles got love them when you live in New England
"And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is LOVE."
I Corinthians 13:13

Love Him with all your heart!

Where ever you are I hope you have a sunny Sunday! Blessings!

Slippery Saturday

So don't worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will have its own worries. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6:34
We got a dusting of more snow overnight so all the areas that were uncovered such as the streets were clear and they are white again. Like my sister says a winter wonderland! 32 degrees out feels like 25 with freezing rain! It is 4:30 AM as I start this blog today. Praise Him for today! I will get some projects worked on and more dishes cleaned. Catching up from being sick for a week. I am getting a bit better each day. I took a lot of prednisone yesterday and it seems to be helping. I still keep getting a lot of mucous and I am wheezy. I coughed a lot while trying to sleep last night. I finally woke up enough to take my regular inhaler in the middle of the night last night. The wheezing is definately better this morning. I am taking Symbicort in the morning and at night now too. It is early yet so I haven't taken any meds. Just enjoying the quietness and sipping my coffee with fake sugar only I am a milk person. I need to go to the corner store and PO box down the street. I am hoping it doesn't get too icy and I can venture out later on and do some errands on foot. Wherever you are I hope your day is wonder filled!
